HOW DO I APPLY FOR THE HELPcard®? Credit applications are available at any participating provider's office, or complete the application provided on the website. You can also call our credit department at 1-800-548-5545 to apply over the telephone. HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR CREDIT APPROVAL? Approval decisions are communicated to your provider in as little as 5 minutes following the receipt of the credit application by The HELPcard®. Your provider may either fax or telephone in your application, or, if you apply online, we will respond to you via your Internet email address. WHAT IF MY INITIAL APPLICATION IS REJECTED? You may reapply if you have a co-applicant agree to sign and accept finanical responsibilty. HOW MUCH CAN I FINANCE? Your credit limit is dependent upon your credit history and your income level. There is no pre-set amount. DO YOU REQUIRE A DOWN PAYMENT? No! You may charge the full amount of your healthcare expense up to your approved and available credit limit. CAN I PAY MY ACCOUNT OFF EARLY? Yes, there is no pre-payment penalty. WHAT IS THE INTEREST RATE? Your interest rate is variable and is the Prime Rate + 14.99%. The Prime Rate shall be the rate published in the Wall Street Journal on the Friday Following the last Thursday of the month. HOW DO I KNOW MY PAYMENT AMOUNT? Your monthly statement of your account will show all transactions for the billing cycle, as well as your minimum payment amount. WHEN ARE MY PAYMENTS DUE? The payment time and due date are shown on each periodic monthly statement. Due dates are 14-20 days from the date of your statement. |
